Kennedy is responsible for the asset management of medical outpatient buildings (MOB) acquired by Chestnut’s healthcare real estate funds. In his decade on the Chestnut team, he has built deep expertise in the nuances and distinctions of MOB investments and the keys to their success. He also draws upon complementary knowledge of other asset types, having also managed retail and industrial investments on behalf of Chestnut.
Kennedy’s primary responsibility as a senior asset manager is closely monitoring and working with partners to ensure implementation of strategic initiatives, including development activity, significant leasing efforts, capital improvement projects, and refinancing, that are critical to the business plans for respective assets. He is also involved in transitioning investments from acquisition to disposition during the fund’s ownership period. Additionally, Kennedy participates in the investment analysis process to provide feedback on prospective investments’ complement to the existing portfolio.
Mr. Griffin holds a B.A. in Political Science from Millsaps College and JD from Mississippi College School of Law.
